Deacon Ministry
The vision of the Deacons Ministry is to minister to the body of Christ and assist the pastor with the work of the ministry related to congregational care. This group of men, appointed by the pastor, follows up with sick and shut-in members and prays for and with church member who are experiencing hardships. Additionally, the deacons assist with The Lord's Supper on first Sundays of the month. Deacons are appointed by the Pastor to serve.

Trustee Ministry
The trustee manages all income coming into the church. The trustee handles the many financial facets of the church. This includes delegating some duties to other members of the board. Some duties the trustee include bookkeeping, accounting, advisory, or special investment duties. Ensuring financial stability of the church, the trustee makes a yearly budget for the church including expenses, capital expenditures, and other aspects affecting the trust of the church. The trustee is knowledgeable in the by-laws of the church. 

Sunday School Ministry
The Sunday School Ministry is the cornerstone of our Christian Education Department. This ministry seeks to educate the Zion Hill membership and the broader community about Jesus Christ and Biblical principles through diverse and practical approaches. The mission of the Sunday School Ministry is to actively support the church by providing a sound Christian educational foundation. This Christian education and study mission employs traditional values of education and theological development.

Beyond The Walls Mission Ministry
The Mission Ministry is a sisterhood that ministers to the women of Zion Hill Baptist Church. The ministry seeks to reach out to all women and equip them by encouraging, nurturing, and building them up in Christ through God’s Word, fellowship and service. We provide an outlet for women to enrich their walk with God through Bible-based activities and social events.

Ushers Ministry
The Usher Ministry of Zion Hill Baptist Church assists the pastor, members, and visitors during services and events. Their purpose is multi-faceted and includes the need to view ushering as an opportunity to win souls for Christ; to provide comfort and support to worshipers; to secure seating and to ensure that order is maintained with the sanctuary.

Youth Ministry
Zion Hill Baptist Church Youth Ministry is based upon the biblical teachings that we must train up a child in the way he should go, therefore when he is old he will not depart from it. Our commitment to our children to be good stewards through teaching and deeds will ultimately prepare them for the spiritual aspects of their lives. We want to challenge our children as well as our youth matrons and workers to be committed examples to continue the ongoing building of God kingdom through teaching and learning.

Transportation Ministry
The vision of the Transportation Ministry is to provide transportation services for various groups to and from special events and activities. The ministry provides shuttle services to college students, members and visitors, members and visitors from home to church and back on Sundays and during the week.

Loving Care Ministry
The primary purpose of the Loving Care Ministry is to serve as our Pastor's aid and provide pastoral care as needed. This ministry is also designed to give needed encouragement to members who are experiencing the spiritual and emotional challenges of life. We strive to provide safe environments where members may meet and share similar personal and emotional concerns. We support the needs of Zion Hill members and the community. 

The ways that people handle the loss of loved ones are as varied as the survivors themselves. The grief that accompanies a death can sometimes be difficult to manage. The Loving Care Ministry offers bereaved family members and friends an opportunity to meet with others who have similar experiences and challenges. We provide knowledgeable support, encouragement, Scripture, and prayers to help address the feelings of loss, and place you on the path of moving forward.

Internet Media Ministry
The mission of the Media Ministry is to follow the commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ who said: “Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation” (Mark 16:15). The Department of Media Ministries is responsible for identifying, leveraging, and developing technologies appropriate for Christian digital ministry.

Media Ministries is dedicated to wielding technology for the proclamation of the Good News of the Gospel and for the advancement of the Zion Hill Baptist Church ministry. This ministry is also responsible for and oversees all social media for the Church. You can also join us on Facebook.
